Activities

The activities available at Eco-Lodge are extremely varied and can satisy the interest of the most demanding vistor. These activities are related to the pristine Rain Forest that surrounds Eco-Lodge, to the proximity of Lake Coter and Lake Arenal, and to other available points of interest in the general area of Arenal Lake.

Activities are conducted by bilingual naturalist/guides that are always there to help you get the most out of your Eco-Lodge activities

Canopy Tour:
View the Rain Forest from an entirely different perspective. Slide from treetop to treetop and through the forest canopy in an exciting experience that puts you where animals and birds spend most of their time in the forest. (Half Day)

Incredible views of the lake and the Pacific Ocean. Ride along the lake shore and through jungle trails. Birds and monkeys abound. Horses for the expert or first-timer. (Half Day or Full Day)

Trail Hiking:
Our Rain Forest is riddled with trails that will allow you to see many species of birds and small mammals in their natural environment. (Half Day or Full Day)Sport Fishing:
Boats-guides-equipment- snack/drinks and plenty of fish! (Rainbow bass). (Half Day or Full Day).

Arenal Volcano, Hot Springs and Venado Caves:arenal volcano Lake Coter Eco-Lodge Arenal Volcano  Costa Rica
Arenal Volcano, with its near perfect cone shape and still active crater is a must see. Afterwards, soak away your worries in delightful hot water springs. Finally, visit the spectacular Venado Caves. (Half Day or Full Day).

Bebedero River and Palo Verde National Park:
The flora and fauna of the park is amazingly rich, especially migratory birds searching for warm climates during the winter time. Visitors discover the wonders of the park by navigating on the Bebedero River.

This is the best way to see birds and monkeys and giant iguanas of Guanacaste, a must for nature enthusiasts or photographers. (Half Day)

Caño Negro Wildlife Refuge:
This protected wildlife reserve provides an excellent opportunity to see an extensive variety of flora and fauna in five different habitats: primary swamp, holillo forest, lakeside vegetation, Santa María Forest and copaiba forest. The Malekus indian settlement lies close to the refuge. These people are direct descendants of the Guatuso Indians who once lived in the area. (Full Day).
